By paying Stardust, users are able to fuse lower tier gemstones to produce higher tier ones. In that process, the lower tier gemstones are removed from inventory and destroyed.
Cost to Upgrade
In order to fuse Gemstones and level them up, a player requires 2 things
200 Stardust (for every 3 Gemstones fused)
3 Gemstones of the same type and tier
For example, to get a Tier 3 Fire gemstone, you will need to fuse three Tier 2 Fire gemstones. For every three Gemstones fused (no matter the tier), you will require 200 Stardust.
However, if you choose to fuse gemstones to several tiers higher (Tier 1 to Tier 4, Tier 2 to Tier 4, Tier 1 to Tier 3) - The fusion cost will only be applied to the first tier of fusions. Thus, it is much more cost efficient to fuse gemstones straight to higher tiers if possible: examples below
Stardust Cost Calculation Example:
User A is fusing 9 Tier 1 Gemstones to receive 3 Tier 2 Gemstones. User A then fuses the 3 Tier 2 Gemstones to receive 1 Tier 3 gemstone
User B is fusing 9 Tier 1 Gemstones into 1 Tier 3 Gemstone
Stardust Cost: 200 * (9/3) = 600 Stardust
With the same end goal and starting materials, User B pays much less Stardust for fusion.

Visit the Gemstone upgrade page under Item warehouse
Approve gemstones by clicking on approve and signing a transaction
Select the tier and number of gemstones you want to fuse/receive and click fuse. In this example, we're fusing 6 (3,3) tier 1 lighting gemstones for 2 tier 2 ones
